Take an Alaskan Blues Guitarist and a driving Scottish rhythm section and
we think you've got one of the more explosive blues bands to hit British
Blues in years. Son Henry is most certainly one of the best lap steel guitarists
in modern blues- if you imagine a cross between Kelly Joe Phelps and Jeff
Healey you've got the right idea.
We first crossed paths with this band at the Orkney Blues Festival, where they lit up the room as the support act for blues guitar legend Peter Green. We had never seen anyone play the lap steel like that before, which is why we can say that this is a live act not to be missed.
